Understanding natural forces has been a key part of Himalayan spiritual life for centuries. Bhutan is on the forefront of combining this view of Deep Ecology with the latest understandings from modern science, creating a virtual Eden in this mountainous kingdom. With the Himalayas as our backdrop, we will visit power places that have traditions going back hundreds of years, while exploring the relationship between the elemental forces of nature as well learning how they can be harnessed to support our own spiritual practice. Visiting with monks and shamans, we will practice some of the ancient spiritual techniques for healing the environment as well as ourselves.

The trip will be led by Sangay Wangchuk and Nick Egan.
