 Shrouded in an aura of mystery, this remote and untouched Buddhist Kingdom is set amidst some fo the world's most breathtaking scenery at the edge of the Tibetan plateau. We will fly from Kathmandu to Jomsom where our spectacular overland journey to Mustang's capital Lo Manthang begins, passing small villages and monasteries surrounded by endless vistas of the windswept hills and desolate plateaus of the Himalayas. Nick Egan has a master's degree in Comparative Religion and is currently a PhD candidate in Buddhist Studies at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, Caiifornia. He has traveled extensively throughout Asia and has a special interest in Himalayan art and iconography. Nicholas regularly lectures on symbolism in Buddhist art.
