Trekking in Nepal: Glimpses of Chomolungma

 This spectacular trek will take us deep into the Himalayas to Lumding Valley, a high and remote valley surrounded by the glacier of Karyolunga and Khartang, rarely visited by trekkers. We will also spend time in the small Sherpa village of Sengma, home to our tour leader Pemba Sherpa's family, and in Nepal's colorful capital city of Kathmandu. Pemba Sherpa grew up in the Khumbu region of Nepal's Himalayas. Guiding travelers since 1986, he has led more than twenty trips to Nepal for both the Colorado Mountain Club and the Himalayan Explorers Club to destinations such as Island Peak, Lobuche Peak, Chulu East and Ama Dablam. He has lived in Boulder, Colorado, since 1991, but spends three to four months a year guiding trips throughout the world.

The per person trip price of $ 2,990 includes accommodations in double occupancy, all flights within Nepal, camping gear and camping crew, three meals a day during the trek, trekking permit and sightseeing.
