 During this journey, we will explore the stories behind some of the Himalayan goddesses of wisdom and compassion whose embodiments and images are beloved by praticioners around the world. We will journey inot Tibet on the famous train from Chengdu and spend time in and around Tsedang and Lhasa before flying to Nepal's bustling capital city of Kathmandu. Nick Egan has a master's degree in Comparative Religion and is currently a PhD candidate in Buddhist Studies at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, Caiifornia. He has traveled extensively throughout Asia and has a special interest in Himalayan art and iconography. Nicholas regularly lectures on symbolism in Buddhist art.
